Tattoos
The only one I have as of now.
- give ‘em hell (click here to see)
I don’t have any of these yet, but here are some other ideas I’ve come up with:
- “love.” on my left wrist in my handwriting (I’m playing around with the idea of also having “loved.” on my right wrist, but I’m not sure about it.)
- Dandelion seeds on the inside of my left index finger
- A small anchor on the inside of my left middle finger
- A small infinity symbol on the inside of my left ring finger
- Silhouette of birds in flight (kind of like this) on the inside of my right forearm
- A killjoy raygun on my right ribs (sort of like this, in terms of placement)
- A wishbone on my upper left back (so sort of like the back of my ribs, I guess)
- “live free” on the back of my neck
- A wing on the inside of my right ear
- Music notes behind my right ear
- “keep going forward” behind my left ear
- “because you’re…” on the side of my left hand
- “you only live forever in the lights you make” in a crescent shape on the back of my neck
These are quotes I’m deciding between, but have no idea where to place:
“carry on”
“do it now do it loud”
“be the change you wish to see”
“the aftermath is secondary”
“be whoever you are, extremely loud.”
About any My Chemical Romance related tattoos: Recently I was telling someone about my tattoo ideas and they thought it was really stupid to get something related to a band. “What happens when you stop liking them,” they asked. Well, while I doubt I ever will stop liking this bands I will never ever forget (or regret, for that matter) any of the lessons they have taught me. Time and time again they have given me hope to “carry on” and pulled me out of my depression. They saved my life and I will always be grateful for that.
Any tattoo I get that’s clearly visible will be done in white ink. My mom is pretty against tattoos but she can’t tell me I can’t get them because my sister has one (it’s literally the stupidest thing - a tramp stamp of her name). So, I think white ink is a good compromise; I still get my tattoos and she doesn’t have to see them (well they won’t be as obvious anyways).
